We have recently entered into a partnership with The Planet Mark, who will be supporting us in measuring and reducing our carbon footprint.
The Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification acknowledging continuous progress, encouraging action, and building an empowered community of like-minded individuals.
As a business, it is critical that we measure our own impact on the environment; particularly now as we are in a crucial Decade of Action. The next ten years will be the most important for us and our planet, determining the course for humanity. If we act now, we can avert irreversible damage to the environment and create a better and more sustainable planet fit for all.
We want to do our part in positively impacting the planet and society; and the first step is to measure our carbon footprint. The Planet Mark will support us with measuring our carbon emissions, creating a clear picture of all our environmental impacts.
Through The Planet Mark, we are protecting an acre of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Our pledge through Cool Earth goes directly towards supporting the Asháninka community in Central Peru.
Through our commitment to The Planet Mark we are also helping the Eden Project – an educational charity that connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.
There will be many more interventions around the business including additionally electric charging points for vehicles and, hopefully, the installation of solar panels.
