The 2011 IFW Awards marked the 15th anniversary of this prestigious event. NVOCC of the Year was a new category for 2011, and Cardinal Maritime beat the competition to win the award in its inaugural year. The winners were announced on 23rd November 2011 at Planit Embankment Gardens in Central London, with Brand CEO Andrew Smithurst and Brand MD Rick White on hand to collect the award.
On 24th November the North West finalists for the HSBC Business Thinking Award gathered at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral for the ceremony to name the regional winner to go through to the national finals and once again Cardinal Group came out on top, scooping the award in the face of stiff competition from a selection of the best businesses across the North West.
