The Captain has noticed that demand on the westbound Asia-Europe trade had increased recently. In fact, recent figures have shown a large increase of lcl cargo in the run up to Christmas. Particularly freight collect cargo, as customers secure more transparent and superior rates in the UK and Ireland. They must have been using the FREIGHTcalculator! The original and still the best!

It has the tallest building and freestanding structure the World has ever seen. The Burj Dubai is 818 meters (2,684 ft) and nearly twice the size of the Empire State building. Jebel Ali port is the worlds largest man made harbour. It has 67 berths and a size of 134.68 square kilometer (52 square miles), the area is also home to “5,500 companies from 120 countries”. We feel over the next 10 years Dubai and the Middle East will continue to grow in importance as an international hub.
