As you may have heard, there have been some changes to legislation with the phasing out of Methyl Bromide for the ISPM 15 treatment of timer. (Sawn timber and finished products) As part of the Montreal Protocol to reduce the depletion of the ozone layer, the use of this chemical to treat timber has come to an end. Treatment certificates dated after the 19th of March may not be accepted at certain destinations. Looks like Heat Treatment it is then!
