Dear valued customers and partners,
On behalf of the team at Cardinal Maritime, may I thank you for your continued support.
The innovative developments planned for the year ahead promise to make 2008 an exciting and challenging twelve months.
Our range of export destinations continues to grow with the launch of USA and Canadian services in 2007 and the most recent addition of South America including direct services to Brazil and Mexico. Our intention to be a ‘one stop shop' for global consolidation will be a step nearer when we commence sailings to Central America during 2008.
The task of expanding our origin ports was facilitated by the initiation of services from Thailand, South Korea and Hong Kong and will be further enhanced by our improved facility from Singapore.
Opening our Dublin office in 2007 was the commencement of our roll-out programme for the brand in Northern Europe. With the addition of offices in Holland and Germany planned for later this year, our aim to be a true European partner will be partially realised.

As a founder member of the Cardinal Maritime Group of Companies, I am acutely aware of the need to adapt to the ever changing landscape of global logistics.
The development of our FREIGHTcalculator ™ software – an ‘on-line' pricing product – and the open access tracking facility have allowed Cardinal Maritime to maintain the rapid development of our brand and network of services. Such innovations have provided the necessary infrastructure and platform required to provide the very exacting standards of service required by our clients and partners alike.
In conjunction with our policy of Local Corporate Responsibility, we have made substantial investment in our CADETAssist TM programme, which is designed to train the next generation of Cardinal Maritime employees.
Much of the success of our organisation has been due to your continued support for which we are all grateful. We have never made a secret of our desire to be recognised as one of the world's leading consolidators and freight forwarders. Having achieved this, we are determined to remain there. We will continue to innovate and find efficient and cost effective solutions, and in so doing enjoy a long and prosperous future together.
